Patriot Day - Candle Light Prayer in Cherry Hill | |

In Cherry Hill, NJ. on a dreary rainy day - a
small group of proud Americans gather together to pay a
candlelight homage for the victims of September 11, 2001. The
falling rain -- reflective of tears that were shed by many who
witnessed the horrendous tragedy that enfolded before their eyes
on September 11, 2001. May God bless and comfort the grieving
families of their loved ones lost. We must never forget this
terrible day!
A solemn prayer for the victims and our country was presented by
Reverand Bernard Henderson! The song "God Bless America" was
sung by those attending after the prayer.! Patriotic music was
played by DJ Bob Smorg |
| during this 9-11 remembrance!
Candles were lit by adults and children and
placed below the photos of Firemen and Policemen, our "9-11
Heroes", that sacrificed their lives to save others.
This solemn tribute was staged by the American Legion Post 372
and Cherry Hill's Firefighters whose members showed up to
participate.
