 |  | Dear America Soldier. I salute you.
 You did not have to go.
 For the red, white and blue.
 
 But you did and I am free.
 Because of what you did for me.
 So when they stand and cheer.
 My shouts will be loud and clear.
 
 I wish there were others like you.
 Some of them don't cheer but boo.
 Not this American, that is true.
 Because I salute you
