USCG NTB BUSL Boat Departs To Break Ice February 6, 2026
January 27, 2026 - A U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Baltimore (NTB) 49-foot Buoy Stern Loading (BUSL) boat departs the pier to break ice in Curtis Creek, Maryland. The unit’s main mission is to ensure the marine transportation mission in the Chesapeake and its tributaries are safely marked.
