USAF Maj. Joshua Grover, SMSgt. Jeremy Roe Awarded Bronze Star Medals June 11, 2026
May 29, 2026 - U.S. Air Force Col. Jason Purdy, 52nd Maintenance Group commander, pins Bronze Star medals on (top) Maj. Joshua Grover, 480th Fighter Generation Squadron commander, and (bottom) Senior Master Sgt. Jeremy Roe, 480th Fighter Generation Squadron sortie generation flight chief, during a ceremony at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. The awards recognized Grover's and Roe's leadership, while underscoring the contributions of the maintenance and combat support Airmen who enabled airpower operations throughout the deployment. Under the leadership of Grover and Roe, the unit generated more than 11,500 combat flight hours, completed over 46,000 maintenance actions and sustained a 78% mission-capable rate.
